Hello,
When in Full Screen mode, it would be really helpful to have the ability to Click the mouse button to zoom to 1:1 and that zoom would stay there.
Clicking again would revert the Zoom to previous value.
Right now it is a little problematic, when viewing through hundreds of images to review them, to have to press * on the keyboard each time we want to keep the 1:1 zoom for a little longer than the mouse button is pressed.
Current behavior of holding the mouse button to Pan in 1:1 Zoom is perfect, the only missing feature is the ability to click once to stay in 1:1 until clicked again.
Full Screen: Click to Zoom to 1:1, Click and hold to Pan in 1:1 Zoom

+1. This indeed would be a useful addition.
EDIT: Although it might be a good idea to impose a modifier key, e.g. Ctrl + left click, instead of just left click, to avoid accidental zooms.

FastRawViewer has this feature, much need it to be included on XnView
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

+1
for adding 'Toggle zoom' command to
- mouse AND
- keyboard shortcuts
however, I prefer Lightroom's extended functionality -
when it toggles between current Auto zoom mode and Manual zoom last value (not just 100%)
ps. 'Toggle zoom' command should work the same in all modes: Normal, Fullscreen and Browser-Preview

Re: Full Screen: Click to Zoom to 1:1, Click and hold to Pan in 1:1 Zoom
Am I understanding correctly, that what is being asked for is essentially a temporary "Zoom 1:1 lock" that would Zoom to 1:1 (100%) and allow panning with no keys held down, and would override the auto-zoom function when changing images, until the "Zoom Lock" shortcut is pressed again?
So when viewing an image, pressing this shortcut would go to 1:1, and the mag would stay there as images are switched, and then later you press the shortcut again and the zoom returns to whatever is specified in Auto-Zoom?
Is that it?
If so, what is the expectation for the viewport? When switching to the next image, is the viewport re-centered, or is the viewport supposed to be maintained from where you panned in the previous image? Maintaining the viewport (or quasi-maintaining it) has some complexity if the image dimensions are not the same.

Re: Full Screen: Click to Zoom to 1:1, Click and hold to Pan in 1:1 Zoom
The point of this feature is to Zoom to 100% on click, and hold that zoom after releasing mouse button.
While the mouse button is held the zoom is 100% and panning is allowed with mouse.
When the mouse button is released no panning with mouse is available, unless existing xnView's features allow to do so.
On image change the zoom should return to original value.
