Hide topics from the panel Catalog Filter possible?

I don't need/ use some of the items at that panel (Rating, Colour Label etc.),
but they take much room I need for "Categories" item.

Is it possible to remove/ hide individual items?

If you click the disclosure triangle to the left of each tree (like Rating) then it will collapse to just a single line.

But it's all these (collapsed) lines I don't need and would like to remove.
They take the room I need for categorie filtering.
