In Batch Convert, the naming template offers, under the right triangle, some individual symbols for formatting dates.
* Can I suggest a few popular combinations are provided as well as the individual letters, I'm thinking particularly of Y-m-d-H-M-S and Y_m_d_H_M_S as that would save on manual entry and encourage unambiguous dating; and/or they could be prefilled in the template droplist examples; the use of m_d_Y and d_m_Y is inherently ambiguous and sort less well in sorting scenarios.

Y-m-d-H-M-S and Y_m_d_H_M_S only?
Pierre.

Those were obvious ones that sprang to mind; at the moment you would have to click letter by letter, or memorise, so it's easier to fill them all in in a single click and the user then adjust it down slightly in the format box. Perhaps a version with B might be wanted too, although I tend to use the numeric month myself.

Thinking further, maybe when Creation, Modified or Accessed dates are chosen, the Date Format Variables menu could pop open so the user can immediately click the date format required.
