Issue A
its possible to add folder into Album (via drag&drop), but
in Metadata menu this option is grayed when folder is selected


Issue B
its not possible to add object into parent Album

Issue C
its possible to drag&drop into Album from win file explorer, but this operation leads to impossible copy dialog
so it either should
- auto-import object into Catalog and add it to Album OR
- just block this operation completely (show cursor w/ ⊘ prohibited symbol)

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.9.9. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
