A minimized window cannot be restored

Post by sanscore »

When using XnViewMP, if you open an image and then minimize XnViewMP, opening another image afterwards will not restore the XnViewMP window; it remains minimized. Normally, the window should be restored from its minimized state when a new image is opened.

yeah if 'Allow only one application instance' is enabled - minimized app should restore its position when new file is opened (eg via doubleclick in win file explorer)

I have this problem also on Mac Mini Tahoe 26.2. When XnView MP is minimized and I double click a photo in Finder, nothing happens. If I click on XnView then the photo opens in a new tab.

I have following options:
"Allow multiple Viewer tabs for same file" deselected
"Start with file" Open > Viewer

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.10.1. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
