Hi,
I used Thumbs Plus photo viewer (Cerious Software) for a very long time. I was a little worried I wouldn't find anything as good, but XnView is really very good, after a short adjustment period.

Hello. I'm new here. I started using XnView MP a few weeks ago as a new option.

Hello
As a long-time user of iView-Media Expression, I’ve now had to find an alternative.
I imagine I’m not the only one here. As a graphic designer and animator, cataloging images (and not really photos) is very important to me. I tried PureRef, which is really good, but it has a different approach. XNView is the best alternative I’ve found so far.
Best regards from France

Welcome to all of you! I'm another longtime Thumbs Plus refugee. It's always nice to see people finding their way here. I've been using XnView MP for a couple of years now after my old favorite went abandoned. There was definitely a learning curve, especially with the cataloging side of things since I came from a different workflow. The batch processing and the way it handles metadata ended up being a big improvement for me though. For the graphic designer above, have you tried the custom categories feature? I tag all my texture references and color palettes that way and it works great for non-photo image collections.
