Crash in 1-instance mode when batch convert open and image launched / 1.10.1 Win11

If you open XNViewMP and are in single instance mode, and open the batch convert, if you now launch an image from explorer (I used Everything) (JPG, jpegli xyb) it will open the image and then after a very short pause XNViewMP will all crash off.
It will do this whether the batch convert is simply open or also when it is running.
I'm not sure if this is new or old, I happen to go into single instance mode in 1.9.9 and encountered it, and it's still there in 1.10.1
I think if the batch convert is actually running it certainly shouldn't stop the batch convert (it could ask but I think usually that's not wanted)

I have never thought about performing another operation while batch convert is running, other than when the batch covert 'Hot folder' option is enabled, is it to be expected that would be supported?

If currently not, maybe support could be added if it is technically possible...

Yes you might not do so if you regularly use single instance... in my case I normally use multi instance and temporarily using a single instance I forgot and double-clicked a file in an external program to view it whilst a batch conversion was on and whilst normally I do that all the time, on this occasion due to the single instance the whole lot disappeared

I suppose under the circumstances it shouldn't be unexpected that single instance (or "allow only one application instance" for search purposes) has an effect on this. I've seen some strange complications because of single instance in the past.

But crashing is bad behavior nonetheless.

I agree, this is something that needs to be addressed.
