Just a real quick one here:
In the Compare function, there is a bar at the bottom for choosing various display options.
This includes choices for "Auto fit," "Grid," "Info," "CRC," "Histogram," and "Navigator."
However, the checkboxes to activate any of the above are poorly placed:
□ Auto fit□ Grid□ Info□ CRC□ Histogram□ Navigator
This creates confusion, because someone wanting to display e.g. Info is convinced that they need to check the checkbox just after the word Info. But that's not the case. They need to check the box before the word Info... the one touching the word "Grid."
That alignment needs to be as follows:
□Auto fit □Grid □Info □CRC □Histogram □Navigator
A simple "polishing up" thing, but nonetheless functionally non-negligible.
As always, thank you for your consideration, and to all, in the meantime, don't bother trying to figure out what box needs to be checked, just click on the word you want.

Re: Compare function: fix checkbox placement
KLE, what OS are you running?
I don't see that problem on the Windows version. Everything seems evenly spaced. Perhaps the spacing between the different options could be increased for clarity... The checkbox for CRC is almost exactly in between CRC and Info.
Is the alignment/spacing different on your OS?

Re: Compare function: fix checkbox placement
Huh! Interesting!
I'm on Windows as well (Windows 10 Home) and mine looks like this:
(so, the checked box is that of Auto fit)
So, maybe the issue is with a particular Theme or layout?
I'm using the "Custom" theme (Tools > Settings > General) and my layout is a customized "Layout 7" (View > Layout).

Re: Compare function: fix checkbox placement
Layout has nothing to do with it. It's the custom theme.
Use the normal light/dark/black theme and you'll be fine.
You could submit a bug report on the custom theme, because even the unmodified settings for it have the issue. Make sure to include the screenshot if you do.
