1.10.3: unused portion of Columns header has gone white

Post by KLE-France »

XnView: MP 1.10.3 - 64 bit
OS: Windows Home 10 - 64 bit

Since version 1.10.3, when using the Custom theme, the unused portion of the Columns header has turned white.

It looks like this on my computer:
Columns header white.jpg

Effect: A display glitch thus.

If it might help, I did notice that adding anything to the Columns header (right-click > Customize Columns > [add anything] > OK) will correct the display:
Columns header added column.jpg

even after going back and removing it (right-click > Customize Columns > [remove whatever you just added] > OK):
Columns header added column-removed.jpg

but only for the current session. Once XnView MP is restarted, the problem returns.

To reproduce:
1. Set XnView MP to use Custom theme
2. At View > Sort by > make sure "Show header" is checked
3> Observe as above

Actual behaviour (bug): the unused portion of the Columns header is white (instead of having the same appearance as the rest of the header).

Expected behaviour: the Columns header should have the same appearance for both the occupied and unoccupied portions (as it always has in the past; this issue is new with version 1.10.3).

Just ran through them all, including a restart, and no, the other themes are not affected by this issue.

EDIT: I did just notice something: Concerning adding something to the column header, in fact, the "adding something" part isn't necessary. Just opening the dialog and reclosing it (right-click > Customize columns > click OK) is sufficient to chase the problem away for the present session (but it still comes back after a restart).

Merci !

I'll send you a PM with those items right after this, although I've not changed anything since the 1.10.3 update and the only things I've ever modified were in regard to this post ( style_sheet.qss) and this post (xnview.ini), both in previous versions in which I never had this issue.

I'll also add that my XnView is always open maximized and the browser window takes up 4/5ths of my screen. Looks like this:

full screen use2.jpg

Thanks again!
