DNG 1.7 (Camera RAW 16) / JPEG XL / lossy support

- RAW images have same pink/violet tint as was present on Digicam, which I suspect being possibly? caused by that there is issues in pulling camera white balance information and applying it to the image

- Also there seems to be issues in levels/brightness. There is very little dynamics in the image, darks are much brighter than they are supposed to be and whites also greyer, I think.

OK. Here you are. I put both versions there. FILENAME.LY.DNG is the JPEG XL lossy version with issues that I mentioned and FILENAME.C7.DNG is Adobe Camera Raw v7 compatible lossless DNG which is supposed to have widest compability. Both have been created with Adobe DNG converter from original RAW files (EOS 400D, Lumix LX-7 and 1-2 other models that I dont remember).

It is maybe best to use as a reference the embedded preview of C7 files.

As you see in most cases there is pink tint in color balance and differences in rendering are in some cases huge (also with levels). What else I noticed is that sometimes (low level pics) I see demosaicing noise but I am not sure if this is issue or supposed to be like this.

Also there seems to be difference in lens correction (if you take a look at extreme edges and corners of the images). Actually LY.DNG seems that possibly lens correction is working but on the older C7.DNG it is not working. I barely ever look at the RAW data (most of time embedded preview) so I had forgotten about this. Bit offtopic because it is issue with the other file type and might need its own dedicated topic.

If you check through samples it might be worth of checking DNG lossy files of modern Apple and Samsung (Galaxy Ultra..?) smartphone cameras as those are (to my knowledge) the first ones that directly save DNG 1.7 lossy images. Unfortunately I don't have those devices nor images ( them but u should find them with google. There is already many reports in various forums where people are unable to open them so it is worth checking them out if you don't one soon somebody else come here to report that they are unable to open those.

I am saying this because I would not be surprised if Apple/Samsung DNGs have some bits differently than Adobe DNG converter DNGs.
