Hum not sure, if you use left/right key, you are always with the focus in listview!Dreamer wrote:- go to browser

But when I'm on image 329 of 482, it's a bit annoying when focus is lost.xnview wrote:Hum not sure, if you use left/right key, you are always with the focus in listview!Dreamer wrote:- go to browser

But why we need Ctrl+R then? Why F5 and Ctrl+R can't be the same? Some users use just Ctrl+R...xnview wrote:Normal, Ctrl+R recreate the file list, F5 is better, so this topic can be closedckit wrote:In Beta 3...
Press F5 focus is kept, Press Ctrl+R focus is lost.
With Ctrl+R, focus is still lost, it's not good, it should be fixed or changed (to be the same as F5) IMHO.

I guess that Ctrl+R is _recreation_ of the whole file list (involving thumbnails creation), and F5 is only checking for changes and making modifications in filelist just for changed/deleted/new items (no recreating existing thumbnails).
I think both are useful for different purposes! They should be just properly documented.
I propose to change name for Ctrl+R option to Recreate file list, add item for Refresh F5 and make their behaviour consistent. I do not see a reason why focus should be reset with the one but not with the other.
