Hello, (sorry if this is a duplicate issue, I could not find anything regarding this)
I am looking to batch convert my photo library to .WDP, however, whenever I convert the images using the JPEG XR option, there is no way that I have found for me to specify for the images to end with .WDP instead of .JXR. I use Windows 7 for my library, and .WDP works great with it, but JXR unfortunately does not. I figure this issue also applies if someone were to have a preference for JPEG or JPG, and possibly other extensions.
Is there a way to accomplish this? Thank you.
How to choose output extension variation?

jxrlib/README.md wrote:Applications that support the JPEG XR file format should recognize and decode HD Photo/Windows Media™ Photo .hdp/.wdp files, but only offer to create files with the .jxr extension.

Gotcha, so any fixes for this would have to be asked of the creator of the library? Changing the text of the file extension in this case lets it work fine, I figured this could be something done on XNConvert's side.

No, there is nothing to fix here, the decade old text is clear about correct extension for JPEG XR format.
You can rename extension and it may work, but formats are not identical.
Also, I doubt win7 native support should be a deciding factor for format choice, since JPEG XR is effectively abandoned.
