Hi all!
I have "XnView MP 1.11.2 [10050] - Libformat 7.239 (Linux)"
running on Ubuntu 26.04
Then I open a .png in my Downloads folder. There are more files in that folder. The .png opens fine in XnView MP.
Then, when using my Mouse Scroll Wheel (even moving it just one click) seems to trigger XnView MP to try to load the next/previous file.
These are NOT image files (.pdf, e.g.) and XnView MP just silently crashes.
BUG: Mouse Scroll Wheel causes SEGFAULT (XnView MP 1.11.2 [10050] - Libformat 7.239 (Linux) on Ubuntu 26.04)

Welcome to the forums...
Then it's not the mouse wheel that causes the crash, it's the attempt to load the non-image file.
To help yourself:
1. Change your settings so the mouse wheel doesn't switch between files
2. Change the filter settings in the browser so non-image files are not displayed
3. Make the file that causes the crash available and post a link to it. If it is a PDF, perhaps it is your copy of Ghostscript that is causing the crash.

Because that's how your settings are configured. Change it in Tools->Settings:Interface:MouseVentoZwerg wrote: Thu May 21, 2026 1:58 pm Then, when using my Mouse Scroll Wheel (even moving it just one click) seems to trigger XnView MP to try to load the next/previous file.
