Aspect Ratio and Orientation in Catalog Filter sometimes incorrectly display as decimal

Post by jkm »

The Aspect Ratio property in the Catalog filter will sometimes wrongly display as a decimal number (160) instead of a ratio (16:10).

Steps to reproduce:
1. Browse to a folder that contains only some of the aspect ratios in your catalog
2. Expand Aspect Ratio tree in Catalog Filter
3. Change scope to Current Folder
4. Observe Aspect Ratio tree updates
5. Change scope back to Global
:bug: 6. Observe Aspect Ratio tree updates again. Now, any values that did NOT have images in the current folder will display as decimal numbers and not ratios. (Example: 140 instead of 7:5) Collapse the Aspect Ratio tree and re-expand it, and all the values are correctly displayed as ratios.

:bug: The same problem occurs with the Orientation tree. You'll see 2 instead of Portrait, and 3 instead of Square, until you collapse and re-expand the Orientation node.

The trees should always display their proper values without having to manually collapse and re-expand.

Consider this "reproduced."

I too have noticed this happening.

I think I've also seen this happen with other suites of actions as well, but would be hard-pressed to describe them exactly.
