Automatically stop playing the fast slideshow when switching to the previous/next file

Post by faegagdagefs »

Is it possible to press the left and right arrow keys (←→) while playing a fast slideshow to switch to the previous/next file and immediately stop the slideshow? Sometimes I need to process a large number of images, so I set the fast slideshow delay to 300ms, which greatly improves efficiency. However, it's easy to miss the previous image because people's actions can't keep up with their thoughts. In this case, I have to stop the fast slideshow and then press the left arrow key to return to the missed image. If pressing the left arrow key could automatically stop the fast slideshow, it would be much more convenient to use!

I agree there should be an option to automatically stop the slideshow if an arrow key is pressed.

However, to address your current need, you might consider binding a convenient key, like the down arrow, to the cmd_quickSlide command, so that it is easy to stop and restart.
