1.11.2 - Doesn't support high DPI
The scan data from Bruker microCT records the real size of the image in the image DPI. For example, the pixel size of this image is 0.55 μm, so the number of pixels per meter is 1,818,052, and the DPI is about 46,178.6.
I want to insert this image into Word and keep its real size, but I need to reduce the stored pixel size. I tried using XnViewMP to modify it, but it doesn’t support such a high DPI value.

Maybe if you open the image and use Image > Canvas resize... to set the desired actual size??
But even if sound in principle, you might well hit the same calculation overflow limit...
Otherwise, ideally if you are able to, post an example image and maybe someone who likes a challenge might find a solution.
