Oh. You said "load". Evidently you actually meant "install". I took the ambiguous "load" to mean "launch".Mack wrote: Thu Jun 25, 2026 10:46 pm as stated in my original message I have been unable to bring my system up to date due the stated problem.
There are several things you can try.
-Make sure XnViewMP is not running when you try to run the 1.11.2 installer.
-If you have any of the options in Settings:Integration checked, uncheck them, exit the app, and reboot. Then run the install.
-Delete the dll in your XnViewMP application directory before running the installer. If the file is still locked, preventing you from deleting it, then you could use Resource Monitor (part of Windows) or Process Explorer (part of Microsoft's free Sysinternals package) to search to see which process is using that DLL. I recommend Process Explorer, it works better. Then kill it and run your install.
Good luck...

Hi JKM
I followed your advice re not running the installer when XnView is running and lo and behold, it worked fine.
The notice that a new Update is available comes up when I have just opened XnView so I click on the dialogue box OK without shutting down XnView.
Many thanks for resolving this for me,
Mack

Re: Qt5Concurrent.dll
You’re very welcome…
FYI, 1.11.4 was just released today, so you’re already out of date.
