For information:
1.11.5: .zst is not a good idea for the .deb packages for the old debian like distribs. (like MX19 or antix22, or Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster) et Linux 11)

Bug with old debian distribs - Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster) et Linux 11. The use of the .tar.zst compression does not work (the latest good one was V1.11.2 amd64 for them.

... I do no use the tgz version only the .deb versions (see below the try of the tgz)
... the old deb method for XnViewMP V1.11.2 amd64 works for MX19 and antiX21/22 and MX-23 and 25. (an universal build method)

(Not tried the AppImage and the Flatpak versions)

The deb version works with V1.11.2 amd64

OK, it is the End Of Life, no problem, so for MX19 and antiX22 i will stick with XnViewMP V1.11.2 amd64 deb version.
