Draw tool - Unable to draw a line [Solved]

Could someone please check that the Draw tool is still working correctly?

I haven't used it for a while but have been unable to annotate a screenshot by adding a line, no response when I drag the mouse cursor.

Thanks for checking, I can draw now...

But the interface seems to have changed significantly over time, and what I am seeing now after an update seems different from what I recall from earlier today, although likely nothing has actually been changed. For me, the Draw tool has not been as usable since user0's redesign a fair while back to more closely mirror Photoshop interface, even if the previous interface wasn't perfect...

Of course not! When I saw your post, my initial thought was along the lines of “Well he knows what he’s doing, I'd better check.” But to be honest I never use the drawing tools. If I have to do something like that I use Photoshop. So how that may have changed over time, I'm afraid I haven’t noticed. But I’ve been in the same situation myself, and I'd ask “Umm, does this bit actually work?” Sometimes it’s my mistake, sometimes it’s been some odd INI setting that conflicts, and sometimes the function is actually broken and nobody’s noticed. There are parts of the app that have been in there so long they don’t get tested anymore and even Pierre doesn’t remember about them.

There is actually a Draw tool bug, but a different one if anyone cares to have a quick look:

The opened image is displayed on a white canvas, on which it is possible to draw or write text outside the opened image...

To be reported as a bug when confirmed please, if necessary I'll report it myself when I have time.
