I use my gallery apps only for picture files.
Is it possible to add a exlude folder feature or general hide video file feature for (avi, mp4, mkv, mpg, mov, wmv, etc.)?

You can filter-out all types of vidéos.
1) Filter Vidéos from the File types (then you see all videos )
2) Tap on the filter bloc named Videos, this gesture reverts the filter so you see all but videos
