Viewer/copy & paste a rectangle selection... toolbar appears

Post by KarelT »

Hi!

(hope this makes sense :-)

When you view an image in the Viewer,
and you select a rectangle on this image with LMB,
then you copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V),
you get the copy of the rectangle, that you can move around with (hold & drag) LMB.

Unlike in XnView Classic, XnView MP (my version is 1.11.5) offers you a new toolbar at this point.
The toolbar (marked with a yellow highlight on the attached sshot) automatically appears right after you paste (Ctrl+V) the copied rectangle.
As the toolbar (automatically) appears, the viewed image either zooms out or moves down.
Although the toolbar and options themselves are certainly useful for somebody, the zoom out (or move down) of the displayed image breaks my particular workflow. I was wondering if there is perhaps a way to disable this toolbar, pls?

Thx in advance for any kind help!
:)

@user0

Thank you very much for your kind reply!
It works!
There is a disadvantage in that the pasted graphics cannot be resized unlike with Paste command which allows me to resize the pasted rectangle using handles, but it is a manageable issue - all I have to do is plan in advance. Also, interesting read in the linked thread-thank you.

Sending a bit of karma your way :-)

Best regards,
K
