[BUG]Search condition color labels

Post by peterfalk »

1. STRG+F
2. Enter any search parameter
3. Add condition color label
4. Observe the comparison options:
  • is less than
  • is less than or equal to
  • equal to
  • is greater than
  • is greater than or equal to
  • between
These seem to be aligned for numeric comparisons and not for text.
I did not try if any of this can be made to produce the desired result. But it is at least unclear how a search can be conducted and limiting its results to specific color labels or to exclude specific color labels from the results. E.G. what is a search with condition between green and black?
This doesn't seem to make much sense. Useful conditions would be

Code: Select all

is
or

Code: Select all

is not
together with an option to select multiple color labels for quicker creation.

Neither catalog filter nor browser filter are a workaround as catalog filter cannot be combined with e.g. smart albums.

Maybe added some day.
