On Ubuntu 24.04, xnView MP 1.11.2 [10050] 64 bit (Apr 30 2026 - Libformat 7.239 (Linux)
After a crop, clicking save, it asks to replace, say yes
"An Error occurred while saving"
Click OK
The original file is now 0 bytes.
Tested with "20260827_215340.heic", which was copied into the "Downloads" folder for the purpose of writing this report.
I tried with a .png, which succeeded
Save after Crop fails and deletes original
