1.11.6: libJPEGXL.dll crashes Windows Explorer on right-click .zip file

Effect: XnView crashes Windows Explorer completely due to an exception in libJPEGXL.dll when a .zip file is right-clicked

To reproduce:
1. Ensure the XNView MP shell extension is added to the context menu
2. Browse a folder containing a .zip file
3. Right-click the .zip file
Actual behaviour (bug): Windows Explorer crashes and restarts

Expected behaviour: The context menu is displayed for the file in question

The new copy of the file XnView_MP-1.11.6-win-x64.exe (SHA256: 0116231a5e626bbc5efb9da0c180d43dd452dcafa35c869886fea4fd93ac6031) does not result in this problem, thank you.

Assuming that the original copy of the file XnView_MP-1.11.6-win-x64.exe (SHA256: 90e67e12e73b22525e6bbb97438003db079c1d9d4a3a4cbe916827311253cc5b) contained corrupted data?

For me the same with Windows 10. Your new version of 1.11.6 fixed the File-Explorer right-click bug. Thank you.

Temporarily, disabling the XnView MP shell extension with Nirsoft's ShellExView tool helped me.

I get a libJPEGXL.dll crash in Windows Explorer when right clicking .jxl files unless I manually revert to the version of libJPEGXL.dll from 1.11.2
It was crashing in 1.11.5 as well.

Does it by any chance require AVX2?

I tried downloading the reference release of libjxl 0.12.0 and neither the static or dynamic versions of the cjxl/djxl/etc programs cause any crashes.
