Is it good for a release of v1.0?

In my opinion, releasing Version 1.0 would attract new users, who would then test the app under their own conditions. That would be an advantage. On the other hand, there are still a few basic features that I feel are missing at the moment. But everyone sees it differently.
I have a few friends who would also install the app because they use xnviewmp on their computers.
It's always hard to find the right time for a release.

Hello Pierre,
Unsure we are ready to expose the app to a wider audience.
I think most bugs are fixed but some features are obviously missing, visibles on 1st look in the gallery or in the tools. I think of those related to videos, the rotation of pictures,...

I'm afraid, after just some minutes this may discourage potential users to pursue their experience with XnView.

B. regards

From viewtopic.php?p=216549#p216549, sort by importance :
  • Rotate photos
  • Display metadata under thumbnails of videos, similar to the labels under photos
  • Adjust stillpictures (contrast, gamma, exposure,...)
  • Manage, restore dates/times for videos
It can be limited, basic features for now and would be extended, improved later.
Users lost on 1st day, you loose 1st users for ever
