Hi
Using xnconvert for the first time under Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS.
I experience this issue when attempting to convert HEIC files to JPEG:
The conversion process runs fine; Protocoll claims the output file to be in the same directory as the input file (name pattern as setup in the conversion settings).
But the file is not there; at least not under the expected name. There is however a tempoary file (starts with a .) (which is the converted file with all content just fine) with the name pattern like .xdp-[target filename].[target fileextension]-[6-characters random key]; e.g. .xdp-chef-with-trumpet_ergebnis.jpg-9buAym
Apparently, this is the temp workfile, and the final step of writing / renaming the workfile to the actual output file name doens't work properly.
Any fix for this?
Best regards

What output filename do you use? each time?
