Hello,
Can we get a Refresh option on the Folder context menu please. It'd be the equivalent of the F5 or the View\Refresh menu selection. I'm often adding or removing folders within a tree in the OS, and it'd be very nice to be able to refresh from the folder context menu.
If there is the need for other menu choices, maybe Folders could be added to the Interface\Context Menu section in Settings, with the appropriate options.
I just thought of another folder context menu item that would be nice to have on folders. Sort. If I add new folders through the tool, or drag and drop from one location into a different parent folder, they always fall to the bottom of the subfolder list. It'd be great to be able to right click on the parent and choose Sort.
Thanks.

I'm aware. I referred to that in my original comment.
There's nothing in there to alter the Folders context menu, and the only Refresh option available is to refresh a thumbnail.

Re: Folder context menu request
why?
- Folders panel
- tree is automatically updated when folders are added, renamed, or removed
- Filelist panel
- auto-updates when changes happens outside of the app; if you modify folder in the Filelist - use F5
- automatic sorting can be changed by unchecking 'New files are added at the end of the list'

None of that happens on the Mac. If the updates happen in the OS, the only thing that is *sometimes* automatically reflected in the folder pain is that a folder will turn pale (unavailable), but it's not removed. New folders and renamed folders do not show up automatically.user0 wrote: Wed Aug 26, 2026 6:33 pm why?

That's files, not folders. Mine is unchecked and folders dragged into a different parent folder always fall to the bottom. New folders created in the OS don't show in the list at all until the user selects View\Refresh.user0 wrote: Wed Aug 26, 2026 6:33 pm Filelist panel - autoupdates when changes happens outside of the app, automatic sorting can be changed by unchecking 'New files are added at the end of the list'

Re: Folder context menu request
this is the issue with Mac that you need to address, not a request to add new context menu item.
Also, indicate your OS in the first post if it isn't Windows
it works with folders as well in Windows

Re: Folder context menu request
Wow, the arrogance.
Windows is not a default OS. I was able to discern from your original comment that you were referring to a Windows interface. If you didn't think the world revolved around you, you might have been able to see outside of your box.
I understand that you were *trying* to help, but you're not, so move on. My request stands.
Have a great rest of your week.
