Unable to delete files on Desktop (Mac, iCloud)

Post by PBPB »

For few weeks I am not able to delete (image) file using latest version of XnViewMP from my Desktop. I sync my Desktop using iCloud for years with no issue ..

The issue is with all there devices I use. There is no issue with moving files. Just deleting. Any file with any folder syncing using iCloud (all Desktop folders e.g.). XnView has full access to the whole disk.

Let me know if you need some log or anything else.

ps:

I've got exactly the same issues as described by initial poster but I think it started after upgrading to macOS 27. Can't delete, can move.
I used previously version 1.11.5 with macOS 26.x and everything worked perfectly. Now deleting photos does not work also in version 1.11.5 which lead me to think this is a macOS related issue. And upgrading to 1.11.7 doesn't solve it.

I've set full disk access to XNView. Anything else to look?
