My samsung s23 smartphone can save pictures in HEIC format. XnViewMP can handle them perfectly.
It is a shame, that XnViewMP or the android media system does not create preview thumbnails of HEIC files.
For jpeg, webp or other files it is possible.
Android native support heic. So I do not understand, why they ignore heic format for thumbnail preview pictures.
So XnViewMP generate thumbnails pictures everytime I open my camera folder.
