Limiting zoom out

Hello, I decided to replace Microsoft Photos with this app and so far so good. There is just one thing that is bugging me regarding zoom.

I have large photos that I set to scale down to the window size in XnView settings, but I often zoom in on things and then zoom back out, which is where my issue arises. I can never get the zoom out to go exactly to the original scale that scale-down-to-window produced, it's always a little zoomed in, or a little zoomed out. Microsoft Photos would stop at that point and not allow zoom out, so I'm wondering if I can adjust XnView to behave that way too?

e.g. Automatically the zoom gets set to 19 %. I zoom in to, say 100 %, and when I try to zoom back out to the original 19 %, it always lands on these one of these values: 13-18-26 %. Ideally, I'd like the zoom out to come to a dead stop at the original value (19 % in this example), i.e. not reaching 18 % and bellow.

I'm running version 1.11.6 on 22H2 version of Windows 10.

You'll get better help if you speak accurately about what you're doing. There is no setting

scale down to the window size

so we have to guess what you're actually doing. You can post a screenshot of Settings:Viewer:Zoom

You're probably using one of the auto-zoom settings like "Fit image to WIndow, large only". This setting can cause unusual zoom factors, like 19%, to be used.

If you want to get back to the zoom factor that fits the window, there is a command for that. View->Zoom->Fit image to window. You can select that from the menu, or you can bind the "cmd_fitAll" command to a shortcut key in Settings:Interface:Shortcuts:Viewer. Once you have that command bound to a key, you can use your mouse software or something like X-Mouse Button Control to bind it to a mouse button if you want. Then just hit the key or the mouse button and your zoom level will be reset as you want.
