MP 1.11.7Shell Extension installed over old one. Problem with Windows taskbar.

MP 1.11.7 Shell Extension installed over old one. Again a problem with Windows taskbar, because I installed the shell extension again, over the old one, despite the installer warning that the old one would not be uninstalled. Removed installation, tried again unsucessfully. Installed 1.11.6 fixed and 1.11.2 Portable, same taskbar problem. What shall I do?
