Re: Options / Catalog / Button "Maintainance" / "Purge file data"
That's not what maintenance means in English. It only means continuing an existing state. Computer programs only use the word to mean things like removing internal files they no longer need and which don't affect their function. No program uses "maintenance" to mean deleting data intentionally created by the user. They call it "deleting". You can use "maintenance" to mean fixing a broken toilet. You can't use it to mean removing all the bathroom fixtures and renovating the room into a closet.
main•te•nance (māntə-nəns)
1. The act of maintaining or the state of being maintained: nutrients essential to the maintenance of good health.
main•tain (mān-tān)
tr.v. main•tained, main•tain•ing, main•tains
1. To keep up or carry on; continue: maintain good relations.
2. To keep in an existing state; preserve or retain: maintain one's composure.
3. To keep in a condition of good repair or efficiency: maintain two cars.
4.
a. To provide for; support: maintain a family.
b. To keep in existence; sustain: enough food to maintain life.
