Keep sort order

Good morning, everyone!
When I set a specific sort order for the photos in a folder (for example, via View – Sort by – Date created), the order is only maintained for the current session. When I reopen the same folder in a later session, the sort order is lost. How can I make it stick?

it's saved by default. Where do you save your settings (Settings>Paths)?

If you have two copies of the app running, that can cause problems with saving the INI files.

Make sure you only have one instance of the app running.

Also ensure the account running the app has permissions to write to the xnview.ini file.
