Any misnamed jpg causes problem. Problem occurs whith beta1 defaults also. v.1.74 does not have problem. Maybe its on Win2k only?

Here are the relevant settings:
[x]Recognize by extension
[ ]Scan file headers - Never
[ ]Cache thumbnail- off
[ ]Read Ahead- off
[ ]Cache behind- off
Browser>Fullscreen>Viewer
Thumbnail View

Restart Xnview by browsing ms explorer folder containing "misnamedjpg.png".

Deleted xnview.ini.

No problem with JPEGs renamed to PNG, thumbnails are rendered OK.

I think problem occurs only on Win2k. I did not notice problem on XP (I tried it yesterday and then uninstalled it). Anyone else see this?
