Batch Convert resize Landscape/Portrait

Post by JO »

We want to batch convert daily all new pictures stored on the network into smaller size pictures, as most pictures are to high res and to large and use to much DASD.
Problem is that the original picters may be 300 by 2000 cm, and others are 2000 by 400.
Simpelest is to resize them something around 500 by 500. Is there any way to resize the LONGEST side to 500 and have the shortest proportional to that? I also don't want to enlarge smaller pictures, so i'd like to use an option as 'only decrease' as well.
Maybe we have to create a VB application using NConvert? Suggestions are welcome!

In next release, there will be an option for that.
