how to crop the larger side of an image in command line?

Post by miabe »

hello everyone,

I would like it to process a my image collection in a way that I get a thumbnail of 128x128 pixel of every picture regardless of its size or orientation (portrait or landscape).
is there a way to do it in the command line with xnview? I tried the resize command in various ways but didn't succeed in scaling the shorter side to 128 and croping the larger side to 128 pixels afterwards.

any help appreciated!

thanks in advance!

I've added an option in the future 1.82
