rc2: Fullscreen preview information timing.

Post by marsh »

Information text of next picture is displayed before next image completely decodes in fullscreen preview.
Can the information update wait until next image completely decodes? So it can look the same as the viewer? It looks strange to me when I'm using 'quick slideshow' there.

When you type many times on pgdown/Up, it's an info to see where you are...

I find current behaviour useful, especially regarding limited control over how image is displayed, however one have to get used to it.

One may see it as a substitute for 'show image while decoding'.

If you don't have information turned on, files are passed over without the user knowing it. It is too easy to skip over files in fullscreen preview when pressing <pg down> rapidly. And, I like having a quick glance at images when I hold down <pg down> key.
