Hi, I am using XnView 1.74 and I have a question regarding the full screen modus:
How can I increase the number of lines/pixels when scrolling with the mouse wheel? I said "Options>View>Keyboard/Mouse>Mouse Wheel>Scroll up/down" but this is soo slow.
by the way:
I really would like to see an Auto image size option called "Fit image to window width, large only".
"Fit image to window width" is a nice option when viewing big images, but when viewing small images it is not good when they are blown up.
Should I make a new thread about this or is this already on Pierre's (?) to do list?
Increse the # of lines when scrolling with the mouse wheel?

Re: Increse the # of lines when scrolling with the mouse whe
Currently you cannot set the number of pixels when scrolling with mouse wheel. This is a good point, since for many people scrolling with mousewheel is currently too slow.Anonymous wrote:Hi, I am using XnView 1.74 and I have a question regarding the full screen modus:

In XnView 1.74 you have appropriate options already:Anonymous wrote:by the way:

- For Image view: Options, category "View > Auto Image Size".
- For Fullscreen: Options, category "View > Fullscreen > Auto Image Size."
- For Preview: View > Preview > Auto Image Size"

I support this request.Anonymous wrote:I am missing an option called

Maybe this is even better - also for images with small height and big width:
- Fit image to window width/height, large only
There is an option "Touch window from inside" in one media player, I mean exactly the same thing, image is always on whole screen (of course "large only" in this case), I'll try to explain:
Code: Select all
+---------+
image2

+--------+---------+--------+
| image1 | visible | image1 |
+--------+---------+--------+

image2
+---------+

Set for text…
- AFAIK, each cog of the mouse-wheel scrolls a certain number of line(s) - I mean text lines-; this is configured in the mouse-options of Windows, or in the maker's mouse-manager, and of course can be different, following the mark and the type of the mouse…How can I increase the number of lines/pixels when scrolling with the mouse wheel? …
- No idea about what criterion is applied to set the height of one line… Maybe following a certain font-size stated in Windows?
- Indeed, this is corresponding to an amount of pixels, but I don't guess that it could be changed easily from outside the mouse configuration…

visible = visible part of the image(s) - fullscreenCode: Select all
