Value is immediately updated now, but there is another problem, with slider position update. To reproduce:
Drag slider far left. Click the slider-line below the value field with mouse a few times. Slider is jumping around, and should move to mouse pointer position at first click and stay there for subsequent clicks.

This standard behaviour is really strange, I think.
