Writing cache to CD-ROM

Hi,

is it somehow possible to store the cache on a CD-ROM together with the pictures like I can do it with jpegger?

At the moment there's one cache directory only and the cache is managed centrally, so writing the cache on a CD is not supported. See also the discussion 'Caching images on CD Roms'
