herr_k,
version 1.4 beta is here:
http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?t=4111

The filename missing is either a bug or new feature not sure yet.
The lack of a change log is annoying I must admit.
AMD Ryzen 3 3300X 3.8Ghz, 16Gb DDR4, RX6600XT with Dell U2520D at 2560x1440@60Hz scaling 125%

I think it's a bug ...

In older versions of ShellExView the file name was shown under the image *AND* as first entry of the context menu.
That fact made me write this request.
Pierre implemented it, so the file name was *ONLY* shown as first entry of the context menu.
Everything was fine until this latest version.
Now we have *NO MORE* file name - seems that the xnView section writes over the standard entry for the file name.

Menu entry "Set wallpaper as" isn't translated to German.

The disappearing filename everyone is talking about, I must admit I thought something was missing from 1.4.

Here's the screenshot using version 1.3.1:
Image

As you can see the filename is next to the resolution, in 1.4 it is missing.
I can't believe I didn't notice it when I first installed 1.4, embrassing :)

Ok, but it's a request to remove this filename. I don't understand Lezmo with first entry??

You should be able to Enable\Disable the displaying of the filename instead of having it only one way.
This way both parties are happy.
