Maybe something like partial load for images above some size limits?

Wouldn't that depend on the amount of RAM in your system and maybe even on your video card (AGP aperture?)

Currently full image is loaded in RAM, but for these picture, the viewer must work by tile....

Right. It would be nice programmatical exercise :D
Such feature could kick-in when decoded image size exceeds some set limit.


Anyway, I thought I'd mention that.
