DX: Preview when converting pics?

Post by ZoNi »

Is it possible to add option to see "live preview" when we convert pics to another format? Now I can set quality, but I have to save pic to see how it really looks like...

something like in Photoshop: one window with original, one with converted pic, and a slider to change quality of pic...

Only problem with this is it will eat cpu cycles and therefore slow down the convert process do you really want that?

Yes, it's the advanced export feature from deluxe version.

oh... than, I guess, you'll not add it to free version? :? well, ok... it would be nice, but I understand you have to separate somehow free and DLX version :)

thanks for your answer...

XnView Deluxe has been discontinued so there is a very good chance, XnView will get the feature added in a future version.
AMD Ryzen 3 3300X 3.8Ghz, 16Gb DDR4, RX6600XT with Dell U2520D at 2560x1440@60Hz scaling 125%
Win11 x64 24H2, Hard Disk Sentinel Pro, MS PowerToys, Process Lasso Pro and Wintoys
