Personally, I don't really give a crap about the icon. I never even notice the icon in the titlebar or taskbar, and when I make a shortcut to any prog, I can set any icon I want for it.

the deluxe toolbar rules too, it's way better the the actual xnview default one.

IMHO the designs for the logo, the filetype icons and the default skin should be carried out by the same one artist.
As far as I can tell everybody agrees that the Mezich skin kicks some serious butt. Maybe we could set up a PayPal tip jar to raise some $$ so Pierre can either hire them or use it as prize money for a WinRAR Theme Contest kind of thing.

And while we're at it: I'd suggest to replace the default skin with it or at least put it on the official screenshots (assuming there are no license or copyright issues involved).

still i'd not mind (at all) if pierre decided to make the deluxe icon and tollbar the default ones on an upcoming xnview release.

I hate the icon for XnView. It's ugly and plain (orange/red/white).
I love the icon for XnView Deluxe. It's much more colorful and pleasing to the eye (gold/red/white/blue/green) .
I hate the default toolbar in both XnView and XnView Deluxe.
I hate the Mesick toolbar (skin). Sorry, guys. I don't think it is the best, and I disagree that it would win in a poll. Toolbar 4 might win.

I really love Toolbar 4 (Dominique Clément). That's my favorite. I use it for both XnView and XnView Deluxe.

PLEASE DON'T DISCONTINUE THIS TOOLBAR!
If anything, maybe it can be updated to work better with the final version of XnView Deluxe and for future versions of XnView.

That white circle icon is probably part of a theme that goes with the toolbar. Support for themes isn't really needed in XnView, different toolbars is enough in my opinion.

..then turned around and posted a screen of deluxe with a white circle icon. I don't know about you, but I sure wouldn't call a white circle "more colorful" than anything. Additionally, I wouldn't be complaining that the icon for normal xnview is ugly and plain when she's happily using a white circle icon in deluxe. That's like saying "This 17", color tv is not pleasing to watch because it's small and not HD, so I'm going to watch this wonderful 12" black&white set (which also isn't HD) instead!"
