I took the upgrade sheet sent to me and made a quick run through your program's Help section. Next, I will look at the on-line manual, which I understand to be a bit out of date in relation to the new version.
I sent the results to the WebMaster, however I thought it worth posting here,

I'd like a "New" File menu choice. The MS clipboard can paste a single graphic onto a page, but I use Thornsoft "Clipmate"( www.thornsoft.com )to store and paste an unlimited number of graphics, so a new page choice would be helpful for me. Even now, I could shoot a white surface to keep on hand as a blank graphic for this puroise, but that would take about 4 steps rather than one.[Some sort of association with Thornsoft might benefit your operations.]I subsequently found that I could active any image, mark off the entire image and, then, paste in the clip, but a new file would be better. A macro combining Clear followed by paste a selection of backgrounds might including transparent might even prove better.
Most third party plugins linked to PhotoShop work without problem, however the elephant of the lot, plugins native to Photoshop, don't work doubtlessly due to the DCE filter requirements.
The Twain system in PhotoShop Organizer overrides all other "Acquire" commands in my graphic programs in my computer including the XnView choice, so I end up in Bill Bate's lap no matter what camera downloading program I chose.
The histogram is a marked improvement.
The tumbnails with labels make it much easier to review my graphic samples.
I prefer the Space and Backspace keys as a means of advancing graphics when I am typing or dealing with text, otherwise I find the left-right mouse buttons more advantageous for reviewing. Already given those two options to advance or retrace graphics, therefore I would like the mouse wheel (or middle button) reassigned az a toggle between Full-Screen and the View Screen in the same manner that Ctrl-B accesses the Browser.
It should be more clearly noted that the Key Shortcuts work on Full Screen reviews.
In the Help section, I would like to see a quick short cut group of key commands that pertain excursively to editing procedures as an aid to future users.
The point behind the switch mode, the "hide preview check" or the "Autocollapse of Last folder" is not intuitive, so be more explicit in the help file.
The "Automatically select new file" in Options/Browser/Files" also needs further explication.
The whole ITPC labeling needs a fuller development. I Only found reference to it among the Key Shortcuts when ran a search.
Options on browser seem a good traffic move.
If you are going to hide the scroll bar in view mode, won't you need a hand panning tool to move the oversized screen graphics for some full sized graphics?
I'm tempted to think that the batch operation should be an entire menu option in itself.
I don't entirely see the purpose of opening a second copy of XnView given the programs's flexibility.
Set lossless clean to individual graphics with single click rather than treating all cleaning operations as a batch. (Refer to your discussion group)
I think it is time for an Import-Export entry under File menu and should include a repeat of batching options.
Although a great idea, the film-striping crashed my machine.
F6/Ctrl+F1 with whose hands, you have to be kidding.
Alt+ # keys for external program didn't work.
The context menu on the tabs themselves is a nice touch.
Since it won't make any difference to people that don't have a Microsoft keyboard, I would turn the Microsoft logo key a one touch "undo" and set Ctrl-Microsoft logo as its companion "redo".
In your Help, I inadvertently clicked on a web URL link provided and it hung me up on a new screen that I could only dismiss through the Task Manager.
I would clearly move the two automatic adjustments from Map to Adjust.
The Color Swap should have its own Choose None option.
I can see why your Insert Text is lost in the Image Menu, but, if you are going to leave that cripple in, at least offer the user a means of moving, adjusting and dismissing the text.
When choosing parts of the graphic for filter masks in square chunks, there was some integrative brush work that I would have like to perform. Photobrush ( www.photobrush.com ) place all of its eggs in one basket that plays to your strength. You might want to consider some kind of friendly relationship because you get higher marks where it is thin.
A return to normal out of Hex mode Menu would be nice, but not overly necessary.
Since you have the display Color Information setup under View, I would repeated it as a choice option in Image>Adjust>Hue/Lightness/Saturation. There is a nice space for it to the lower right of the display.
I hope these observations are of some help
