Nice link with a good review

(Although I don't like comparisons too much).
i agree w/ you, helmut. not sure if you realize that i authored that "review" or not, but yes-- i shouldn't have done the comparison-- it's a function of a mind-set that "too many" other people use that other one, so i was attempting to find common ground on which to introduce something better. i was also going to mention ACD's product, but-- hmm... maybe i'll edit it, leaving them both out! here's why:
i started making an itemized list of all of my favorite / all the most useful features of XnView for a proper editing of that "draft" review, but an hour later, i woke up w/ my head on the keyboard, and i only made it like 3 bullet points down the page! realizing it was time to retire at that moment, hopefully i'll finish that list w/ brief descriptions and insert / edit the existing text.
glad you liked it! i'm an honest man, so i hope it shows in something like that. i should do one at download.com as well. do you have any other places where a review would do you good, or is this not an issue of concern for you? i suppose you have enough people using it by now?
i hope you are adequately compensated for your work because you deserve it for what you've given the community! it's difficult to tell, as a user of a software such as xnview, how is the author able to be so generous while others are so greedy? it's difficult to understand.
(sorry so verbose at times!!)
EDIT: after examination, i see that there is the option to "register". does a registrant receive a different product? or is it so that he or she may use XnView in a commercial purpose?
