Possibilities to make 'Edit Colormap' easier to use:
1. Copy/paste or drag/drop squares one to another.
2. Copy colormap information to a 'custom colors' clipboard located on same dialog.
3. Saving of custom colors to ini. Very few programs do this (including some paint programs I have used).
Improving 'Edit Colormap'.

I would like to use a saved set of custom reference colors when making icons.xnview wrote:For copy/paste color, currently i have a problem....marsh wrote:Possibilities to make 'Edit Colormap' easier to use:

And, I usually use colormap to replace much more than 1 color. If the program remembered the RGB settings, then I can more quickly prepare image for a paint program. I have used 'edit colormap' to remove parts of image.

Open up the colormap, choose the set of colors you want to use in all your icons, then click the save button. Now when you go to work on the next icon, open the colormap and click the load button, then select the palette file you created before.
