Options>Auto image size: Fit to desktop, large only

I know some people rant about automatic image resizing, but I will do it myself one more time. I often read to people asking "how do I set the option so that big picture fit in my screen ?" something like, go inside the option, 'cause if you use the '/' key it won't be saved and remembered. So let me be clear : I know that
All this is done with "maximize view" checked.
The problem is :

• if I choose "fit to window, large only", xnview behaves like I think it should : it dosn't resize the window, only the picture (if it's bigger than the window). It doesn't shrink the window either, but display pictures with some border.
• if I choose "fit to desktop, large only", on the other hand, I do get strange results, that is, big pictures aren't resized as they're displayed, so I only see a part, but as soon as I move any border of the window, then the picture is displayed again, resized this time. Looks like a bug to me, no ?

I could only partly reproduce your bug, but the "Fit to desktop, large only" really seems to be buggy:

1.) XnView is maximized and the browser window, too.
2.) In the browser double-click on an image
-> The image's zoom factor is not set properly, only part of the image can be seen
-> XnView switches from maximized to normal window mode (bug)
-> And the window of XnView cannot be resized anymore (bug).

When double-clicking on the title bar of the XnView window, the window switches to normal (!) mode (although it isn't maximized anymore) and then can be resized, again.
