1.82.3 Disabling folder tree. Free space not allocated.
When I disable folder tree using layout #3, the preview area is only in upper left quadrant. The lower left quarter is no longer used for preview image.

Yes,xnview wrote:You have always the problem???? Are you sure to have the 1.82.4
The problem is with "Folder Tree" and "Preview" space (when you unselect "Preview")
I try again (without xnview.ini) on XP and Windows 2000 and it is the same problem ...
I have downloaded "Fichier Zip (Toutes langues)" from Server 1 and I have the "XnView pour Windows Version 1.82.4 (Mar 3 2006) Libformat Version 4.57" in "About"
With Layout 4 it works fine.
With a previous version (1.80.3 for example) it also works fine with Layout 3...
If you (alternate) select and unselect "Folder Tree" and "Preview" you will have stranges things ( The Folder Tree becomes very very small and it's not possible to stretch it out :-\ )
I don't often use the "Preview" (I have "large" thumbnails

• Still with the layout #3, I confirm. The height comes back like you say.Another new bug - when I enable and disable folder tree, size is lost / changed to 1.5 lines.

Hello B. !
- It remains grey, empty and “frozen”. This worked alright in 1.80.3, I checked.
Kind regards,
Claude

• Right, I can confirm. The freed space is not assigned to the tree, like it should.…When turning on/off "preview", free space not allocated in layout 3. …
