No thumbnails for MPEG4 (.mp4)

Post by Sam Simpson »

I'm using XnView 1.82.4 (Windows XP SP1) and have noticed that for movie files encoded with MPEG4 Simple Profile XnView doesn't build thumbnails although it plays them without any problems. Would be glad to know if anybody has the same problem or better, knows how to solve this....

Options > Browser > File list > Recognize only by extension.

Anyway, few file types should be added to xnview as videos, mp4, 3gp, divx?...

Yea, i think it would be the best solution for the problem. It was already requested as "One Easy Option to cripple XnView's access to ALL video file types (avi, divx, mpg. mov) I want it so XnView treats the file as though it has no extension at all" by Ckit. Changing "Recognise.." doesn't do what it should do. Thanks for help
